Todd Leiter-Weintraub is an engaging, affecting singer-songwriter too restless to keep himself chained to a single genre.
After kicking around in punk and indie bands in Chicago during the 1990s, Todd formed Hop On Pop, who released 2 albums on local indie pop label Spade Kitty Records. As Drawn By Ethan, Age 2 (2004) andChicken on a Bicycle (2010) both received glowing reviews and worldwide airplay, but achieved only modest sales.
After Spade Kitty closed up shop, Todd self-released an EP of solo/acoustic recordings and an online single that featured his country-influenced side.
He is currently working on recording more new material and plays occasional solo/acoustic shows around the Chicago area whenever the mood strikes. Just because he loves it. -------------------------------
