Ms. Crossen has performed, directed, and accompanied for professional theatre and musical groups, colleges, and high schools in the Chicago area. Her private voice and piano students have gone on to study at NYU,  Ithaca, Sarah Lawrence, Boston College, Northwestern, De Paul, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin, among others.  Julie has also workshopped as a performer and musician with Tony Award winners Jason Robert Brown and William Finn. Her theatre credits as an actor include dozens of productions in Chicago and throughout the midwest, as well as roles in tv and film. Presently as a musician Julie can be heard playing piano and singing at various venues. She is especially proud and grateful to have assisted as accompanist and musician for the 2015 Illinois High School Allstate Theatre Production of Pippin, at the University of Illinois this past January.
