Allie Frost presents “FrostofDoom” album listening party
Allie Frost is a Massachusetts native and first came to Chicago in 2002 to study Arts Management at Columbia College. She has played music for over half of her life, playing guitar, bass, keys, and singing. After graduating from college she worked with several underground musical acts/bands assisting them in their marketing and promotion. In 2006, she joined Eternal Embrace, a gothic metal band from New England, as their lead singer and lyricist. Also in 2006, Allie acquainted herself with an indie entertainment wrestling promotion in New Hampshire known as WAW. This is where her "Frost" persona came to be. Allie signed on with the promotion as a manager for a team of heels known as, The Kindred. She created the character, "Jaclyn Frost", an icy trickster often getting involved in matches and cheating to win. Her manager career in wrestling was short lived but the impact and thrill of the experience was too powerful to deny. Allie kept the Frost name and continues to keep that part of herself alive through her music and art. In 2011, she relocated back to Chicago and joined a group of shoegaze musicians known as Solemn Meant Walks. At the close of 2014, she parted ways with this project to pursue a solo career, along with other artistic ventures. She learned to basics of home music recording and has now created an album of simple, yet entertaining gothic electro melodies to share with lovers of darker sounding music. This is FrostofDoom.
