Anastasia Royal, author and singer/songwriting pianist, received her piano training from Lili Simon, a
pupil of Bela Bartok. In 2015, she performed at the International Poland Piano Festival in Nałęczów
Poland. She opened the 18thseason of the Parisian Salon Concerts with her show Embers and her show

Headless Beauties.
In the ‘80s, Anastasia released a New Wave album with the German band Originalton.
In the ‘90s, she was founder/director of the theater company Bruise-Easily-When-HIT PRODUCTIONS,
where she produced and performed in theatres throughout the Chicago area.
Her first novel, UNDOING I DO, was released by St. Martin’s Press (2007).
She co-authored THE ROYAL TREATMENT, published by Simon & Schuster. (2012).
Anastasia is currently working on a new book series/soundtrack called Headless Beauties.
